Gestrickte Fledermäuse - last minute Geschenk

Hallo meine lieben,

Heute gibt es wie versprochen mal wieder was aus zum selber machen. Leider bin ich mit dem was ich für euch geplant habe nicht fertig geworden, aber das gibt es dann einfach im neuen Jahr.

Dafür habe ich jetzt ein paar ganz süße gestrickte Fledermäuse für euch. Die eignen sich auch als last-minute-Geschenk oder als Christbaumdeko. Die Ausführliche Anleitung findet ihr hier: (julia-arend-handgestrickt.de) Das heißt also, ich habe die Anleitung leider nicht selber geschrieben, dafür aber hat Julia Arend sehr viel liebe in die Gestaltung der Anleitung gesteckt.

Diese kleinen Fledermäuse sind absolut Anfänger geeignet. Man muss lediglich rechte und linke Maschen beherrschen. Wenn man ein wenig geübter ist geht es auch ganz schnell diese süßen zu stricken. Ich selber brauche ca. 1h um eine zu stricken.

Noch ein absoluter Punkt der für die kleinen Schätze spricht ist, man kann Reste verwerten. Man benötigt wirklich nicht viel Garn. Und zum anderen spielt die Garnstärke keine große Rolle. Ist das Garn dicker, wird die Fledermaus halt größer. Ich kann mir vorstellen, wenn man die Maus mit Nadeln und Garn in Stärke 10 strickt ergibt sich ein ganz tolles Kuscheltier. Dann vielleicht nur die Flügel mit dickem Filz verstärken, damit sie nicht weg knicken.

Meine erste Fledermaus die ich nach dieser Anleitung gestrickt habe wohnt am Rückspiegel meines Autos und begleitet mich somit überall hin wo ich hinfahre. Ein paar dieser kleinen habe ich als Schlüsselanhänger verschenkt. Bis jetzt hat sich noch jeder, egal ob Grufti oder nicht, sehr darüber gefreut. Wenn wir mal ehrlich sind, sind ja auch die selbst gemachten Geschenke die schönsten und man freut sich am meisten darüber. Selbstgemacht bedeutet nämlich dass sich der Mensch der einem das schenkt die Zeit genommen hat um das zu machen. Und Zeit ist in der heutigen Welt um einiges wertvoller als Geld.

In diesem Sinne wünsche ich euch und euren lieben ein schaurig schönes Weihnachtsfest das ihr im Kreise eurer Familien (egal ob Verwandt oder ausgesucht) verbringen könnt.

Meine wintertime favourites

Hallo meine lieben,

wieder einmal der Titel in bestem denglisch. Aber irgendwie hört sich „Winter lieblinge“ nicht so toll an. Kennt ihr das auch? Dass sich etwas in einer Sprache super schön anhört und wenn ihr es übersetzt klingt es auf einmal doof? Und auch wenn es den selben Sinn hat hört es sich schrecklich an?

Abgesehen davon, naht der Winter nicht nur, zumindest hier im Süden Bayerns ist er voll angekommen. Es liegt Schnee und es ist ziemlich kalt. Die Natur hat sich endgültig in den Winterschlaf verzogen und es ist herrlich still wenn man raus geht. Und da ich mich gegen einen Gothic Weihnachts Post entschieden habe und trotzdem was winterliches machen will, gibt’s jetzt meine Winter Favouriten. Warum kein Weihnachts Post? Ganz einfach, so sehr ich auch Gothic liebe und am liebsten alles in Schwarz und mit Fledermäusen und Totenköpfen dekoriere und gestalte, Weihnachten bleibt bei uns ganz traditionell mit roten Kerzen, Grüner Tanne, Strohsterne und bunten Holzfiguren. Einzig die Plätzchen sind ein wenig Gothic durch ihre Fledermaus und Totenkopf Formen. Wenn Ihr das allerdings trotzdem sehen wollt, zeige ich es euch gerne an den Feiertagen.

Aber jetzt ab in den Winter:

Schwarzer Tee

Ich bin normal der absolute Kaffee trinker, aber im Winter muss es Tee sein. Bevorzugt schwarz. Meine lieblingssorten sind Earl und Madame Grey. Die Madame gibt’s zum Frühstück weil sie ein sehr leichtes und blumiges Aroma hat. Den Earl zum Nachmittag, da mag ich den herben kräftigen Geschmack recht gerne. Und wenn es besonders sein soll, gebe ich einen schluck Orangensaft mit hinein. Gibt dem ganzen einen Weihnachtlichen Touch. Meine Lieblingstasse dafür ist die Fledermaustasse von Flezart.(Batarang Tasse )Und das Teeei in Totenkopfform bekommt man bei EMP. (Tee Totenkopf)

Wärmflasche

Ja, ohne meine Wärmflasche geht gar nichts. Ähnlich wie bei meiner Kuscheldecke. Die brauche ich auch unbedingt wenn ich dann in meinem Sessel vor dem Kamin sitze und lese oder stricke. Dieses Besondere Wärmflaschenmodell ist auch von Flezart. (Wärmflasche Batty fleece )Wusstet ihr dass man mit einem Einkauf dort den Fledermausschutz unterstützt? Ich finde das Klasse. Also wer noch ein gruftiges Weihnachtsgeschenk braucht kann hier gleich noch ein gutes Werk tun ohne extra Aufwand.

Mantel und Kapuze

Zugegeben, das ist alles andere als ein Alltagsteil, aber garantiert auf jedem Christkindlmarkt der Absolute Blickfang. Der evil Queen Coat von Dracula Clothing und das zugehörige Cape. Sehr schön warm und kuschelig und dabei elegant und vor allem weit genug dass man auch gut einen voluminösen Rock darunter tragen kann. Auch ein Reifrock passt gut drunter. Da das Cape extra ist, kann man das auch gut mal über einen einfacheren Mantel tragen um diesen auf zu peppen oder zuhause lassen wenn es nicht schneit. (evil queen coat)  (Cape)

Thermo Leggings

Ich bin ein Rock Mensch. Das heißt ich trage das ganze Jahr am liebsten Kleider und Röcke. Meist heist es dann, das is doch unpraktisch und vor allem im Winter zu kalt. Ist es definitiv nicht. Man gewöhnt sich ziemlich schnell daran Röcke zu tragen und aus dem richtigen Stoff sind die wärmer wie Hosen. Und wenn der Rock nicht dick genug ist, gibt es Thermo Leggings. Einfach drunter und voila, man ist richtig schön warm angezogen. Alternativ die guten alten Strickstrumpfhosen. Wobei diese schwerer zu finden sind als Leggings und meist auch teurer.

Das sind sie also, meine lieblinge. Was ich noch sagen muss, ich mach hier ja ziemlich viel Werbung, verdiene damit aber kein Geld und wurde nicht dazu angehalten. Das ist alles freiwillig weil ich so begeistert davon bin. Nächstes mal gibt’s dann hoffentlich wieder etwas kreatives und selbstgemachtes.

I Made myself an early christmas Gift and did some Bat shopping.

This time i bought at the Dawanda Shop Flez-art.de i mentioned bevore at my christmas baking post. Its a Shop from Berlin, Germany. And it is owned by a woman called Petra. 

There are a lot of bat styled items. It is all made with lot of love, what you defenitely can see and feel.
The Best thing of the shop: 5% of your buying is given to an bat saving organisation.
Lets go to what i have bought.
I ordered last thuesday and everything arrived Saturday. So this was quite fast.

Everything has an very good quality and looks like it will last a very long time. My coffee never tasted better than drinking it out of the bat wing mug.

A thing i got earlyer by an Facebook giveaway flez-art.de did, i won the First price. This cute little bat you can also get at her shop. This little cutie is really nice and always around me. At the Moment she is hanging around my Tea shelf.

Christmas bakery the gothy way

As I told the last time, I will show you some goth Christmas bakery.

I love cookies. All around the year and spezially at christmas time. But with christmas cookies it is the same as the dekorations. Nothing really gothic looking. So lets style them up.

during the last years i got several cookie cutters which look gothy. I am haveing three diferent Bat cutters and a Skull. And it is really great. Make the dough of your choice, i choose choclate for the Bats and Butter-cookies for the skull. So it all has the color thats normal to it.
When you dont have cookie cutters like this, you can get Bats, skulls and other really gothy ones at flez-art.de. Etsy is also a great place to get something different to the normal ones.

And if you dont want to buy some of this, you can decorate normal cookie shapes a bit more gothic. So how about makeing round cookies and dekorate them with white iceing and chocolate like Jack Skellington Faces? Or simply cover with really dark choclate so that they look black.
Another Idea is makeing gingerbread man, cover with dark choclate and paint a skeleton on it with white iceing.
I also found some skull sugar sprinkles to dekorate the cookies. It was Halloween time when i bought them.
Last but not least, poisoned apple cookies. Easy cookie dough, dekoratet with red and black iceing.
Or make Cinnamon Stars and paint a Pentagram on them.
Maby cutting out layered Cookies in Coffin shape? There are so much you can do. Just get creative.

DIY: Ideas on a spooky Christmas

Halloween is over now and the holiday season is right around the corner. Everyone ist doing holiday dekoration and there is christmas stuff every where you look. Bright and shiny Christmas ornaments, sparkling Lights and cheesy red and green Santa Claus Stuff.

So I thought it is time to bring the nightmare before Christmas to live and let this holiday season have a little toutch of never ending Hallowenn. Silent time? Lets get loud!

The easiest way to add a little goth touch to it, is haveing a black christmas tree. They can be easily found at the internet. The other way are black christmas ornaments. Last year black ornaments were really popular at Bavaria.  And they are moste time really cheap an easy to find. When you dont find them to buy, they are easy to make. Buy some really cheap ones and paint them black. 

But you can go way more creative. There are so many Ideas on the internet what you can make. 

Here are my Ideas:

- cut out Bat or Skull ornaments from Cardboard or made from modelling clay

- Black Santa Socks. (made out of felt, no hemming needed)

- Black Santa Hats

- A black Angel Christmas Tree Topper

- Black Candles and Bows at the wreath.

My personal holiday decoration this year is really minimal because i am moving during the holidays. So there will only be a gothy christmas door wreath this year.

I took a cheap styrofoam wreath from the craft store and covered it with grey knitting material. I used this because i can re-decorate it for every season.

The decoration are black ribbon, silver snow star jewelry and a black bow. The Bells i like very much. these are my personal "Hells Bells". It is nothing really special, but it is definitely diferent to the ones you can buy.

Now get everyone a black Santa Hat, listen to one of the gothy or heavy metal Christmas songs and enjoy a spooky holiday season.
